DB Marine Speakers / Subwoofers

A nice evening on a boat or a cruise can be spoiled if you don’t get to enjoy your favourite music with the right notes and bass. The DB marine speakers and subwoofers such as the APS8B of the APS series ensure that you make the most of such splendid evenings by enjoying music to the fullest with good quality sound and the right bass.

Built for Life

The DB marine speakers and subwoofers have been designed especially for marine operations. These speakers have been manufactured keeping in mind just the exact air volume that is required to optimum music quality. Therefore, at any volume level, you are sure to hear music at exceptional audio reproduction quality, thus delivering just what you were looking for.

RGB Led Accent Lighting

The DB marine speakers and subwoofers come fitted with the RGB LED lighting that makes that perfect mood for your marine adventure. Moreover, this lighting is resistant and does not get easily affected due to the harsh marine conditions. The colours match the music as well as your mood. So, you have just the right mix and brightness of colours giving you the required ambience for your poolside or cruise party. An RGB lighting controller that is available separately can help you in controlling these colours as per your choice.

IMPP Cone Design

These IMPP cones fitted in the DB marine speakers and subwoofers are UV protected that works perfectly well even in a humid environment. Also, it is not vulnerable to fungus and is ozone resistant as well. These cones are therefore full of strength and quality to deliver the right set of music that wish to listen to on a marine drive.

Additionally in the DB marine subwoofers such as the APW10D4, the top and the bottom plates come coated with blue zinc that makes them durable and last long. Another important feature of these cones is that they are non-pressed during the manufacturing process. This allows them a larger surface area which further ensures that more air is pushed thereby producing sound at louder levels.

4 ohm Impedance

The DB marine speakers and subwoofers come with 4 ohm impedance. It is important to understand that as compared to an 8-ohm speaker, a 4-ohm speaker is less resistant to the flow of current from an amplifier. As more current flows through it, it leads to more drawing of power. Hence, these marine subwoofers having an impedance of 4 ohms, means that they have high electrical resistance and use less energy.

Die-cast Aluminium vented basket

The DB drive marine speakers and subwoofers have a Die-cast aluminium vented basket that gives them a perfect shape. Also as compared to steel, aluminium baskets hold the components better and also allow the heat to pass away quickly so that the subwoofers are not damaged due to prolonged usage.  Therefore, aluminium, in terms of heat sinking is regarded as the best material and that is what makes the DB marine speakers and subwoofers speak for themselves.

DB Marine Amplifiers

Marine amplifiers play an important role in the sound enhancement and reproduction when enjoying music in the marine environment. The NEO5v2 marine amplifiers that are a part of the NEO series of DB marine amplifiers are one such product that is a must-have if you love music on the boat or a cruise.

Compact Size and Inbuilt Variable Crossovers

The compact size of these marine amplifiers makes their installation fast and easy. Moreover, they come fitted with in-built variable crossovers that allow a selection of variable frequency for low pass filtering at precise levels. Also, these DB marine amplifiers are powered with a selectable 6dB-12dB Bass Boost @ 45Hz that assures performance at low-frequency levels as well.

Class-D Design

The DB marine amplifiers are powered with an effective class D design that has an efficiency of more than 90% as compared to a class AB amplifier that has a maximum efficiency of 60%. Moreover, amplifiers with class D design not only consume less power but also allow you to listen to music at higher volumes for a longer period and still drain less battery as compared to their counterparts.

Amphibious grade conformal coating on PCB

In order to protect the printed circuit board (PCB) and its components from corrosion and damage due to a harsh marine environment, a thin polymeric film known as the conformal coating is applied on the PCB in marine amplifiers. Conforming to the industry standards, the DB marine amplifiers come equipped with amphibious grade conformal coating on PCB that ensures the safety and durability of the amplifiers.
