4 ohm Impedance

The Metra marine speakers and subwoofers come with 4 ohm impedance. It is important to understand that the number of crossovers and drivers dictate the impedance of a speaker. Therefore, as compared to an 8-ohm speaker, a 4-ohm speaker is less resistant to the flow of current from an amplifier. This leads to more power being pulled out of the amplifier as more current flows through it. Hence, these marine subwoofers having an impedance of 4 ohms, means that they have high electrical resistance and use less energy. 

20 mm PEI Tweeter

The upper frequencies in your music are reproduced by the tweeters. The 20 mm PEI tweeters of marine speakers and subwoofers are weather resistant and are meant to last a lifetime. Extended Bass Response

To provide an extended bass response, these marine speakers and subwoofers are powered with 11 oz. woofer magnet that comes with a 3 inch passive radiator. For having an optimum speaker placement, these marine speakers and subwoofers are equipped with 2 inch and 1-3/4 inch universal clamps along with 1-7/8 inch, 1-3/4 inch and 1-1/2 inch rubber inserts. 

Waterproof RGB Lighting
